Truck 4 Delivery ("we", "us") is a commercial freight and courier company based in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. This policy explains what personal information we collect through truck4delivery.com and our customer portal, how we use it, and your rights under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA).
Booking & quote requests: name, company, email, phone, pickup and delivery addresses, and shipment details you provide in our forms.
Customer accounts: name, company, email, phone, password (stored encrypted), and your shipment history.
Social sign-in: if you register or log in with Google or Facebook, we receive your name, email address, and account identifier from that provider. We do not receive your password, contacts, or posts.
Driver location: for our drivers only, we collect device GPS location during working hours to dispatch jobs and provide delivery tracking. We do not collect customer location.
Website analytics: we use Google Tag Manager and related analytics tools which collect standard usage data (pages visited, device type, approximate region) via cookies.
To provide quotes, schedule and perform deliveries, provide shipment tracking, communicate about your bookings, manage customer accounts, dispatch drivers efficiently, improve our website, and meet legal and accounting obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Shipment details are shared with the assigned driver to perform the delivery. We use service providers to operate the business — website hosting (Hostinger), analytics (Google), and social sign-in (Google, Meta) — each of which processes data under its own privacy terms. We disclose information if required by law.
Account and shipment records are retained while your account is active and as required for tax and business records. Passwords are hashed with industry-standard encryption, connections use HTTPS, and access to personal data is limited to authorized staff.
